Discover a new skill together using clay to make beautiful hand-built projects. From trinket bowls to model-making and sculptures, I'll teach you techniques that will open a world of possibilities in clay.

Your experience starts with a Couples Clay Kit that will be posted to you in advance of your session (please do book early so that you'll receive it in time!). Your large London Wildflower Clay Kit contains 2kg of air-dry clay that is soft and satisfying to work with, being very similar in texture to kiln-baked clay due to it's mineral composition. The clay is non-toxic and contains small fibres within it which help strengthen your creation when it is dry. The clay dries naturally within 24-72 hours depending on the size of your project, with no kiln or oven heating required.

Your Clay Kit also contains all the tools you'll need to start out in pottery. Your tools include cutting, sculpting and finishing tools. The kit also contains a rolling pin and wooden board to work on, so all you need to do is roll up your sleeves and get started!

Your online session will teach you basic hand-building skills and essential pottery techniques. At the end of your 1-hour class you'll have a small collection of clay pieces - making lovely display items, or gifts! Following this you can purchase more clay for your projects from London Wildflower, take another session to learn more skills, or simply get cracking with new pottery projects!
